Our Wax Return Program is designed as a loyalty exchange for our valued customers, allowing you to send back your used MEL beeswax so we can transform it into something new.
How it works:
1. Read the Terms of Service listed below.
By purchasing the MEL Wax Loyalty Return, you agree to the program terms.
2. Save 300g of MEL Beeswax
- Only MEL beeswax is accepted—no other waxes or contaminants.
- Store it in a sealed ziplock bag and remove excess debris.
3. Place a New Order & Add the Wax Return Program to your cart.
- The program is only available with a new MEL purchase.
- Add the MEL Wax Loyalty Return (€5 processing fee) to your cart at checkout.
- Download and print the RETURN FORM.
4. Ship Your Wax to Us
- Mail your sealed ziplock bag with the return form at your own expense.
- Tracked shipping is strongly recommended as MEL is not responsible for lost or damaged packages.
5. Receive Your Surprise Bundle
- Once we verify your wax, we’ll include a 300g surprise bundle with your order.
- Your bundle will include one or more handcrafted candles weighing 300g.
By participating, you help reduce waste, honor the bees, and continue the tradition of sustainable candle-making.

Terms of Service
By participating in the MEL Wax Return Program, you agree to the following terms:
1. Agreement to Terms
- Purchasing the MEL Wax Loyalty Return confirms your agreement to these terms.
- This program is exclusively available to MEL customers who have purchased our beeswax candles.
2. Customer Responsibility for Shipping
- Customers are fully responsible for shipping their used MEL beeswax to the provided address at their own expense.
- MEL is not responsible for wax lost or damaged in transit.
- To ensure safe delivery, we strongly recommend using a tracked shipping method.
3. Processing & Exchange
- The €5 fee contributes to the processing and return of your recycled wax into a 300g surprise bundle.
- Exchanges begin only after MEL receives and verifies your wax.
- Your surprise bundle will be shipped with your next MEL order.
4. Eligibility & Wax Quality
- Only MEL beeswax is accepted to maintain quality standards. Non-MEL wax will not be processed.
- If we receive non-MEL wax, contaminated wax, or wax mixed with paraffin, fragrance oils, or excessive debris, it will not be eligible for exchange.
If your wax is ineligible, you may choose one of the following options:
–You may request that your wax be shipped back to you. We will hold the wax for 14 days while awaiting payment for return shipping.
– If return shipping is not arranged within 14 days, the wax will be discarded.
5. Wax Preparation Requirements
- Customers must remove as much debris as possible before sending wax.
- Wax must be sealed in a ziplock bag until it reaches exactly 300g.
- Contaminated or dirty wax will not be processed and is subject to the conditions outlined in Section 4.
6. Order Requirement & Fulfillment
- The Wax Return Program must be purchased as part of a new MEL order.
- Your surprise bundle will be shipped together with your order once your wax has been received and verified.
7. Discount & Exchange Policy
- Discount codes do not apply to this program.
- Wax recycled through the MEL Wax Return Program cannot be exchanged for cash value, store credit, or alternative products.
- Once a wax exchange is processed, all transactions are final.
8. Liability Disclaimer
- MEL is not responsible for wax lost in transit, delays, or damages incurred during shipping.
- Customers assume all risk when mailing wax and should retain proof of shipping with a tracking number.
9. Policy Changes
- MEL reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time to improve the program and ensure fairness for all participants.
